The oil cloth (heavy material) was my favourit out of the three to play around and work with. not just because it can easily be controlled but also because I liked the leathery quality, the look of the design became really sharp.
After been told by one of the tutor not to pin the material directly onto the manikin, as clothes don't naturally stick to the body, but rather to pin the pieces of material to one another. I founf it made a huge difference and the creating became more rapid even.
