Scrapped the piece, that I had made for me from the materials store, yesterday afternoon. Found I wasn't getting anywhere with it and that it was getting boring. Also it began to bend like the sides were about to pull away, (would need thicker wood).

However, I did get some interesting patterns out of the experiment, from both the strings being plucked and the ink being put onto the strings, a combiation of spatters and spills.

 

 

I videoed the piece being plucked with different coloured ink then black, the second time around. Different styles of music/ different sounds, each string was tightened to sound different to each other. I'll take a picture of the results and upload it soon. And hopefully by then I'll have decided what to do with them or how to use them.!

 

 

Our group has a blog review today, I'm in at 11.30am with 9 other students, so I said I better do a post! Fingers crossed it's up to scratch.
